1.) Finance & Operation Officer – RCC South (AfCDC)
Location: Lusaka, Zambia
Salary: US$ 77,377.01 (P2 Step 5) Annually
Job Description:
The Finance and Operations Officer is responsible for the day-to-day financial and operational activities of the RCCs. This includes managing budgets, accounts, procurement, and facilities management. The Finance and Operations Officer will also work to support the RCCs in achieving their objectives.
2.) Travel Officer (AfCDC)
Location: Ethiopia
Salary: USD85,212.07 (P2 Step 5) Annually
Job Description:
The Travel Officer will handle day-to-day functions, calculate airfare, excess baggage entitlements, and provide support to travel planning activities. They will also review travel claims and documentation, coordinate with the Finance Section regarding reimbursement, and ensure unused tickets are properly tracked.

Job Description:

2.) Protocol Officer (ECOSOCC)
Location: Zambia
Salary: USD 25,523.00 (P1 Step1) Annually
Job Description:
The Protocol Officer will be in charge of the practical implementation of the relevant provisions of Treaties on the Additional Protocol on privileges and immunities and the Host Agreement signed between the Government of Zambia and the AU Commission for the ECOSOCC. Ensure the practical implementation of all procedures linked to protocol processes, Staff Regulations and Rules, and other administrative guidelines.
African Union Recruitment 2024 Requirements
Some jobs at Africa Union (AU) may require one or more of the following qualifications and experience:
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations, Diplomacy, or any of the Social Science disciplines with courses in International Relations and Diplomacy and at least two (2) years relevant work experience, preferably in an international working environment.
- Proficiency in one of the AU official working languages (French, English, Portuguese, Arabic) and fluency in another AU language(s) is an added advantage
- Ability to delegate the appropriate responsibility, accountability and decision-making authority with regard to performance management and professional development
- Conscientious in observing deadlines and achieving results
- Familiarity with international and regional definition, methodologies and standards in the relevant area
- Knowledge of MS packages, criminal law, and the criminal justice system would be ideal.
