Job Description:
The role involves providing support for reintegration projects under PxD, offering rehabilitation assistance to returned migrants, collaborating with stakeholders, distributing travel allowances, reviewing business plans, monitoring activities, and assessing grant impact.
3.) Senior Project Assistant – Child Protection
Location: Lagos
Job Description:
The role involves planning, coordinating, and monitoring protection interventions, strengthening partnerships, organizing workshops, providing technical support, and coordinating family tracing and reunification for migrant children and adults.
IOM Recruitment 2024 Requirements
Some jobs at International Organization for Migration (IOM) may require one or more of the following qualifications and experience:
- Completed University Degree from an accredited institution in International Relations, Social Science, Law, Social Work, Humanitarian Affairs, International Development, Child Protection, or related field with a minimum of four years of relevant professional experience in the field of migration issues, including operational and field experience.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Good knowledge of information technology and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Publisher, and SharePoint.
- Personal commitment, efficiency, flexibility, drive for results; capacity to work effectively and harmoniously within a team of colleagues from varied cultures and professional backgrounds.
- Fluency in English (oral and written) required, Desirable: Working knowledge of the local language in the Northeast.
- Ability to work effectively with different levels within and outside the organization and with colleagues from various cultural and professional backgrounds.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to collect statistical information accurately and maintain records.
